About Me
I have had a passion for music since I was a kid taking guitar lessons with my dad. From there I learned trumpet and french horn, and spent a summer teaching myself clarinet and saxophone. Now I am learning how to repair instruments at a local repair shop part time while I’m in school playing jazz and being awesome.
I’ve learned a lot about teaching thanks to my younger sister. She has taught me how to approach a topic from many different angles to help reach a specific audience, while staying calm and collected.
In a normal school setting, I love math and science. This natural disposition towards nerd things feeds straight into why I love jazz music and repair. Math is everywhere!
I also love crocheting, skiing, baking, any other form of crafting, and playing with my dog Otis!
I am currently pursuing a music degree at the University of Utah. I am dedicated to improving myself as a musician while showing others how wonderfully exciting learning music can be.
